a5c7b9f00b Jackie Chan is Inspector Lee, a Hong Kong Detective who helps confiscate three dollars worth of stolen Chinese artifacts from Crime Lord Juntao. Seeking revenge, Juntao kidnaps the daughter of the Chinese consul when he moves to America. Chan is senta diplomatic advisor and finds himself paired up with a Los Angeles cop (Chris Tucker) - a man who works alone, and wants to stay that way. A loyal and dedicated Hong Kong inspector teams up with a reckless and loudmouthed LAPD detective to rescue the Chinese Consul's kidnapped daughter, while trying to arrest a dangerous crime lord along the way. Rush Hour was a decent buddy movie, but when I saw Rush Hour when it first came out I remembered seeing Lethal Weapon 4 about 2 months ago and it seemed like a rip-off. Both of these movies plots are real different, but it has a lot of the same things: Lethal Weapon 4 had Chris Rock, Rush Hour had Chris Tucker: Both movies had Chinese People: Lethal Weapon 4 had Jet Li, Rush Hour had Jackie Chan. Chris Tucker has one of the most aggravating voices I have ever heard, but he does have a couple of funny parts in this movie. The plot of Rush Hour is about the dumbest thing I have ever hear of, but its Jackie Chan's wonderful action scenes that save this movie. Jackie Chan is the best when it comes to action, because he does it all by himself. The chemistry between Chan & Tucker is good, but not how it was between Gibson & Glover. If your a huge fan of Jackie Chan's movies you might be a little disappointed in Rush Hour, but if this is your first time watching one of his movies you will be extremely impressed. Chris Tucker is mainly a Chris Rock rip-off which brings the movie down by his abnoxious voice. **1/2 out of **** the film was awesome!!!!! i watched rush hour 1 couple of times and i also watched rush hour 2 couple of times. i liked the bit when Jackie Chan knocked all the bad guys in the museum and the funny bit is when all the money dropped from the air and Chris tucker puts in his pocket. i also liked the end when there both on the plane and Chris tucker spec's Chinese and Jackie listens to the song loud. my vote is to give 10 out of 10. i hope in rush hour 3 there are more fighting and stunts. i also hope it comes out soonpossible so everyone could enjoy the film if it comes in cinema i will book in so i will be the first person to see the film. The movie seems to proceed from somebody's notion that it would be hilarious to see a black guy and a Chinese guy working together.
